Our CEO is Prof. B. MUTHUKRISHNAN, formerly principal of an engineering college at Chennai. He has nearly 40 years of experience in the field of higher education. After completing the engineering education at MIT, CHENNAI, he started his career as ASSISTANT PROFESSOR at University Agricultural Sciences, Mangalore. During this period, he handled classes for UG and PG students, conducted research and published more than 40 papers and two text books.
Later on he moved to Chennai and worked with ASHOK LEYLAND LTD in R&D department and invented a marine propeller (which was patented). After serving 12 years in the industry, he switched over to teaching and assumed the position of principal in a self-financing engineering college. Prof. B. MUTHUKRISHNAN had traveled to many countries such as USA, SINGAPORE, JAPAN.
With the experience and the knowledge gained in the field of engineering education, he wanted to help students who want to pursue their higher studies in overseas countries particularly at USA. than 300 students to realize their dream of US education. At BALAJI we help students right from coaching for GRE / TOEFL, selection of good universities, application filing, getting admissions, to the entire visa process.
REASONS FOR THE SUCCESSFUL GROWTH: Over the years, we have completely understood the admission requirements of US universities including top ones. Therefore, we are able to get admissions based on the students' profile to any /all universities applied. Having realized that getting admissions is only half the battle won, we started counseling students for getting the visa successfully. Thus a student making initial contact with BALAJI ends up with landing at USA at a good university. Another factor is that at BALAJI, we use Internet for most of the transaction with the universities and with the students. Therfore, physical presence of students for carrying out the application process is not required. This has helped many students from other cities and countries such as DUBAI, BANGLADESH, etc.
ASSOCIATIONS : Our CEO served as a trustee for 10 years in a reputed temple, KANYAKAPARAMESWARI TEMPLE at Chennai and servedas HON CORRESPONDENT for 10 years for 4 schools managed by the temple.
AWARDS RECEIVED :'Rashtirya Vidya Saraswathi Puraskar' from International Institute of Education and Management , New Delhi and 'Lifetime Achievement Gold Medal Award' from INDIAN SOLITARITY COUNCIL, New Delhi. The awards were given by HON. BHEEHSMA NARAYAN SINGH former Governor of Tamilnadu and SRI KRISHNAMURTHY formerly Chief Election Commisioner at The Connaught Hotel, New Delhi on 13th March 2009.
On 14th March 2009, another award 'Bharath Ratna Dr. MGR' award was conferreed on him by NATIONAL INTEGRITY CULTURAL ACADEMY, Chennai. The same organisation honoured him with two more awards , one in Jan 2009 and another one on march 2008. |
